Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro has received Rs 1,450 crore contract from Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC).
The contract is to build offshore process cum living quarters platform to meet GSPC’s hydrocarbon production target from the KG (Krishna Godavari) basin, off the east India coast, L&T said in a notice to stock exchanges.This is L&T’s second order from GSPC. In 2010, it had received GSPC’s offshore wellhead platform contract for developing Deen Dayal West field in the KG Basin.L&T shares were traded up 0.3% at Rs 1,510.30 in morning trade on NSE.
