BJP leader L.K. Advani visited Mumbai after the serial blasts and criticised the UPA government over its policy on Pakistan. He called for zero tolerance towards terrorism.
"The serial blasts signal the failure of India's policy on Pakistan. The government must adopt a policy of zero tolerance towards terror," Advani said at a press conference after visiting the blast sites in Mumbai.
Advani said Pakistan continued to fund terrorists. He said that even the Indian Mujahideen, which many claim to be an Indian outfit, got its sustenance from Pakistan.
All states including the National Capital Region has been put on high alert following the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed the use of IEDs in Wednesday's serial blasts. The explosions took place two days after the 5th anniversary of the 7/11 Mumbai train blasts.
