Sanjay Dutt to host 'Bigg Boss-5'

Actor Sanjay Dutt is all set to replace friend Salman Khan as the host of popular TV reality show Bigg Boss in its fifth season. Dutt's spokesperson on June 28, 2011 confirmed that he would host the upcoming season of the show.

According to reports, Salman, who was supposed to host the fifth season of the show after hosting it successfully the previous year, suggested Dutt's name as he was tied up with too many film commitments.

Salman has to shoot for Sher Khan immediately after Bodyguard gets over. He also has Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger lined up opposite ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Surprisingly, TV channel Colors, which airs the show, denied that Dutt was going to host the fifth season.

The channel had followed a similar strategy in the past regarding Salman as the anchor during its previous season and Pamela Anderson's entry on the show. Reports suggested that the channel was expected to break the news closer to the show.
