On Amitabh Bachchan's request, Chiranjeevi agrees to act again

A couple of days after announcing that he would not act anymore, southern superstar Chiranjeevi has decided not to quit acting following the request of Amitabh Bachchan.

The 55-year-old Telugu star-turned-politician had said that he was quitting acting because of his involvement in politics, but he gave up his thought on the 68-year-old veteran actor's advice. Chiranjeevi, who floated his Praja Rajyam Party in August 2008, however put a condition to act again. He said he would do so only if Big B acted with him.

"I will do my 150th film which will be directed by Puri Jagannath," Chiranjeevi announced putting condition that Big B would do a guest appearance in it. Incidentally, Bbuddah-Hoga Tera Baap is also directed by Jagannath.

His statement came after Chiranjeevi attended the premier show of Bachchan's Bbuddah-Hoga Tera Baap along with many other celebrities in Hyderabad. It was at this event that Big B requested Chiranjeevi, who has done 149 films in his career, to act in one more film and make it 150.Bachchan also announced that he was willing to play a guest role in Chiranjeevi's next film.
